Exams and cleanings

Dental exams and cleanings are essential parts of maintaining good oral health.  During the appointment, diagnostic dental x-rays will be taken to make sure we are not missing any decay and/or pathology not detectable otherwise.  The appoinment also includes gingivitis evaluation, periodontal disease evaluation and oral cancer screening.  This is also the time we can determine if you have any cavities (tooth decay) and if your existing dental work is holding up well.  Most insurances fully cover at least two dental cleanings and exams a year.  Call to see if your insurance falls into this category.  Even if you do not have dental insurance we have payment options to help you get seen for this preventative care.
